Screening for Plagiarism Policy

Student Journal of Education and Learning (SJEL) maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy toward all forms of plagiarism.

  • All submitted manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software (e.g., Turnitin or equivalent tools) before entering the peer-review process.

  • Manuscripts with a similarity index exceeding 20% (excluding references) will be automatically rejected or returned to the author for revision.

  • Authors are fully responsible for ensuring the originality of their work and the accurate citation of all sources.

  • The editorial team reserves the right to re-evaluate the manuscript for plagiarism at any stage of the publication process if misconduct is suspected.

This policy is in place to uphold the journal’s academic integrity and to promote ethical publishing practices.
